Histoty

1948 Okura Yuken Co., Ltd. is rst established as an oil renery, with paid-in capital of Y900,000.
1958 The Company begins production of textile oils and additives for resins.
1974 The Company begins agency sales of oils, cosmetics, surfactants and industrial chemicals.
1976 Paid-in capital is increased to Y 3.5 million.The Company begins operations as a general sales agency for Nippon Shokubai Co., Ltd.subdividing three ethanolamine and three ethyl glycerol products from Nippon Shokubai into oil drums.
1977 Color matching operations are launched with Toa Paint Co., Ltd.
1978 Production machinery is increased and the second phase of construction is completed.
1981 Takahashi Trading Co., Ltd. is established as the Company's trading affiliate.
1982 Ilshin Chemical Co., Ltd. is established as a joint venture company in South Korea.The Company begins operations as an import and sales agent for natural amino acids (L-cysteine).
1991 Paid-in capital is increased to Y10 million.
1995 Seine Australia Pty. Ltd. is established as a joint venture company in Australia.The Company begins operations as an import and sales agent for food extracts.
1996 The Company begins sales and application operations as an agent for insulating paints.
1998 The Company celebrates the 50th anniversary of its foundation and changes its name from Okura Yuken Co., Ltd. to Okura Chem-Tech Corp.
2000 The Company begins sales and application operations as an agent for ship-hull paints from Nippon Steel Chemical Co., Ltd.
2001 The joint-venture company Luvantix Co., Ltd. is established, beginning operations with the production and sale of optical- fiber products.
2002 The joint-venture company EB Tech D&C Japan Co., Ltd. is established, beginning operations with the production and sale of? flat-panel display products.
2004 Established EB Luvantix Corp.
2005 Established Okura Chem-Tech (Shanghai) Corp.
2007 Okura Chem-Tech Corp. merged with EB Luvantix Corp. The head office relocated to commemorate the 60th anniversary.
2008 The company acquires Tainetsu chemical Co.,Ltd., and begins sales of NETSUSOL (Heat-resistant paint). The company begins to manage JOYX Golf Club Kohzuki Course as a group company.
2010 Established Taipei office.
